BELCOURT, ND–JUNE 21, 2026–After a disqualification altered the official order of finish, Flo Sixes Ridin was declared the winner of the $11,500 William and Roberta Decoteau Memorial Derby (not black type) at Chippewa Downs on June 21.

The 350-yard event was contested over a fast track under clear skies.

Ridden by Scott Bethke, Flo Sixes Ridin races for owners Dalton Neilsen and Duane Longie, who also trains the gelding.

Bred by Michael Groce, the North Dakota-bred gelding is sired by Six Figure Sixes and out of the Paintyourownwagon mare Sia Flo Ridin.

Breaking from post three, he settled just off the early pace before rallying late and crossing the wire second by a half-length. Following the disqualification of the apparent winner, he was elevated to first.

The victory improved his career record to 9-2-1-0 and pushed his earnings to $12,544. As a juvenile, he finished fifth in both the NDQHRA Futurity and the Rusty Wilson Memorial Futurity.

Tarlas Hot Dasher and jockey Dallin Herman were moved up to second for owner/breeder John Bubel and trainer Jamie Herman. The filly broke sharply and dueled throughout, holding the lead until the final strides before being placed second after the disqualification.

Sired by Dashing Jess Perry and out of the Such Easy Cash mare Tarlas Easy Cash, she now sports a record of 8-0-2-1 with earnings of $6,769. She was a finalist in the NDQHRA Northern Plains Futurity.

Third went to Bodies Blow Out under Rhett Migues for trainer Terry Davis. The homebred gelding, also campaigned by John Bubel, raced in contention throughout before finishing fourth across the wire.

He was elevated to third in the official results. The son of Dashing Jess Perry out of the Dashing Val mare Miss Salty Val now owns a record of 9-1-1-3 with earnings of $9,145. His previous accomplishments include a fourth-place finish in the Rusty Wilson Memorial Futurity and a finalist effort in the NDQHRA Futurity.
