Mucho Man Lady Scores Fastest Time For Firecracker Futurity at Delta Downs

VINTON, LA–JUNE 12, 2026– Delta Downs conducted five qualifying trials for this year’s $270,810 Firecracker Futurity (G2) on Friday night. The fastest qualifier came out of the third trials as Mucho Man Lady ($3.40) reported home with a time of 17.751 seconds in the 350-yard heat while racing over a fast track. The clocking earned a speed index of 92.

Mucho Man Lady was ridden to victory by Manuel Gutierrez, who also rode the second fastest qualifier, Ct Cyber Crime. Mucho Man Lady is owned by Ruse Ranch LLC and is trained by Jose A. Garcia.

Mucho Man Lady has now won three-of-five career starts and will attempt to take her second futurity on July 4 when the Firecracker Futurity final takes place. She also won the Old South Futurity at Delta Downs on May 16. She earned $3,600 for her trial win and now has a bankroll of $114,726.

Bred in Texas by her owner, Mucho Man Lady is a 2-year-old bay filly by Kj Mucho Macho Man, out of the Cosmograph mare Cosmo Traffic.

Second-fastest qualifier CT Cyber Crime continued her perfect start to her racing career with a sharp trial victory under Manuel Gutierrez. Trained by Viviane Hill for owner Tiffany Anne Beus, the filly improved to two-for-two with earnings of $10,800.

Bred by Beus Quarter Horses, CT Cyber Crime is by Cyber Monday and out of the stakes-winning Tres Seis mare Paint Me Tres, giving her a pedigree stacked with proven speed and black-type success.

Bolo Cowboy secured the third-fastest qualifying time while representing one of the sport's most accomplished female families. The gelding was ridden by Leonardo Palomo for owner Rancho El Huajillo LLC and trainer Gregorio Davila.

Bred by Christine Hudson, Bolo Cowboy is a $20,000 graduate of the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale and is sired by champion and champion sire Flying Cowboy 123. He is out of the One Famous Eagle mare Starshine, a half-sister to champions Noconi ($1,356,459) and Brenda Beautiful ($337,176). His second dam is AQHA Dam of Distinction and Broodmare of the Year My Dashing Lady ($168,798).
