A Dream Fulfilled and jockey Jacob Enriquez win the $50,400 John Andreini Memorial Stakes at The Downs at Albuquerque on May 25.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM–MAY 25, 2026– A Dream Fulfilled and jockey Jacob Enriquez led from start to finish to capture the $50,400 John Andreini Memorial Stakes at The Downs at Albuquerque on Monday afternoon, covering the 350 yards in :17.071 seconds over a muddy track while earning a 102 speed index.

The sorrel colt is owned by Noel Rivera and trained by Ramon Alvarez. A $75,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate, A Dream Fulfilled was bred in Oklahoma by J. Garvan Kelly and J. Lloyd Yother.

The son of champion Flying Cowboy 123 is out of the stakes-winning Tres Seis mare Answer The Dream and is a half-brother to stakes winner Three Dee Dreams ($36,662). The female family traces to champion Little Sonny APHA ($36,510).

A Dream Fulfilled improved his record to 13-4-2-2 with earnings of $110,365 after collecting the $29,232 winner’s share of the purse. The colt entered the race off a third-place finish in the La Plata Stakes and previously won the 2025 All American Invitational Stakes.

Paradise Pete and jockey Luis Martinez finished second after pressing the pace throughout the race. The gelding is a homebred for owner Stephen Marshall Harris and is trained by David Gomez-Barraza.

Sired by champion Flying Cowboy 123 and out of the Walk Thru Fire mare Fire Specialist, Paradise Pete now holds a record of 18-4-3-3 with earnings of $113,635. He previously captured the AQRA Turf Paradise Open Derby. Paradise Pete stopped the timer in :17.138 seconds while earning a 99 speed index.

Naughty Politics and jockey Gabriel Medrano finished third for owner Leonidas Loya and trainer Anthony Montoya. Bred by Nick Reynolds, the filly is sired by champion sire Apollitical Blood and out of the Swingin Jess mare Naughty Jess.

Coming off a victory in the La Plata Stakes, Naughty Politics now owns a career mark of 17-4-5-1 with earnings of $125,668. She earned a 99 speed index after covering the distance in :17.158 seconds.

Apollitical Boogie J finished fourth and was followed by Teller Perry Mrl, Macdara, Jes Relentless, KJ Wildthang, Apollitical Crown, and Dos Special Eye. Fly Girl 123 and Hes My Sweetheart were scratched from the race.
