Fullmoonovrmanhattan Scores Lassie Stakes Victory At Delta Downs

VINTON, LA–MAY 22, 2026– Fullmoonovrmanhattan surged late to capture the $50,000 Lassie Stakes Friday night at Delta Downs, giving owner David Dunn and L and S Greenhouse Inc. a stakes victory. The filly covered the 330 yards in :17.071 seconds for an 85 speed index over a fast track with no wind.

Bred by Spring Hill Farms LLC and trained by Alex Clark, Fullmoonovrmanhattan was ridden to victory by Pedro Espinosa. The filly entered the Lassie Stakes after posting the fifth fastest qualifying time in the April 30 Lassie Futurity trials before stepping forward with a strong finish in the stakes event.

The daughter of San Lorenzo is out of the Dash Ta Fame mare Full Moon Dasher, winner of the Four Corners Senora Stakes. Fullmoonovrmanhattan now owns a record of one win and one second from two career starts, and the $30,000 winner’s share of the purse boosted her bankroll to $32,000.

Third fastest qualifier KJ Dashin Girl finished second under jockey Victor Urieta Jr. for breeder DGC LLC and Damian Trahan, owner Double J Racing, and trainer Jose Ponce. The $26,000 LQHBA Yearling Sale graduate earned a speed index of 83 after stopping the timer in :17.143 seconds.

Sired by KJ Mucho Macho Man and out of the winning Heza Fast Dash mare Fast Girl Friend, KJ Dashin Girl is a half-sister to stakes placed runner Runaway Fast Dash, earner of $110,294. Her second dam is a half-sister to stakes winners PYB Place Your Bet ($115,826) and Man Hez Gorgeous ($18,792 in Mexico). The filly has now finished second in all four of her career starts and has earned $16,200.

KRS Dream and jockey Federico Vargas completed the trifecta for breeder Kenneth Fletcher, owners Joseph Raffeo Jr. and Sara Louise Fox, and trainer Paul Rigdon. The filly rallied late to finish third while posting a time of :17.179 seconds for an 82 speed index.

A $11,000 LQHBA Yearling Sale graduate, KRS Dream is sired by world champion sire Freighttrain B and is out of the Dominyun mare Histori, a half-sister to stakes winner No Dice Special ($162,610). The female family traces back to Dam of Distinction Zipp Zoro ($102,240). KRS Dream has now hit the board in two of her three starts with earnings of $11,500.

La Chica Loca finished fourth, followed by fastest qualifier Fully Loadedd in fifth. Sheza Sneakin Bayou, Jes Innocent, Keep It Rogue, Jedi One, and Blue Heart Z completed the order of finish.
