Rogue Fast Dash Scores Third Consecutive Win This Season In Louisiana Champions Day Classic-RG3

OPELOUSAS, LA—DECEMBER 20, 2025—Rogue Fast Dash scored her second stakes victory of the season with a wire-to-wire win in $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Classic Stakes-RG2 on Saturday night at Evangeline Downs.

Ridden by jockey Juan Garcia, Jr, Rogue Fast Dash clocked a 98 speed index in in 21.933 seconds in the 440-yard stakes for Louisiana-bred four-year-olds and up. The sorrel filly earned $45,375 for the victory, prevailing by a half-length over Into The Grey.

Bumped at the start, Rogue Fast Dash bobbled but still broke first from the gates to put herself in a good position early and stayed on gamely through the lane. Trained by Ismael Solis-Guevara for owner Archie T. McKinnon, she paid $8.40 to win at 3-1 odds.

The daughter of Heza Fast Dash is out of Miss Jess Rogue by Mr Jess Perry and was bred in Louisiana by Robicheaux Ranch/Triple M. A $105,000 purchase at the 2022 LQHBA Yearling Sale, Rogue Fast Dash has now won eight of 19 career starts with earnings of $235,132.

Rogue Fast Dash has won the last five of her last six outings this year, highlighted by a victory in the Flashy Hemp Stakes earlier this season, along with a third-place finish in the Amelia Belle Stakes and fourth in the Mother’s Day Stakes. She was also a finalist in the LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity-G1, Lee Berwick Futurity-G1, and LQHBA Breeders Derby-G3 earlier in her career.

Into the Grey finished second with a gritty effort, beaten by a 1/2-length at the wire. Trainer Juan Garcia saddled the gray gelding for the meet’s leading owner Rogelio Marquez, Jr. Ridden by Leonardo Rodriguez, the son of Sir Runaway Dash is out of Sass That Chick by Chicks a Blazin and was bred in Louisiana by Phatt Kat Ranch.

He has compiled a consistent record of seven wins, 11 seconds, and three thirds from 31 starts, earning $244,565. A proven stakes performer, Into the Grey is a multiple stakes winner whose résumé includes the HDJ Butler Stakes earlier this season and last year’s Louisiana Classic Stakes-G2.

All About Rogue completed the trifecta in third, another 1 1/2-lengths back. The brown filly races for owner Leobersi Perez and is trained by Alex Clark, with Yaidel Rodriguez aboard. Bred in Louisiana by Brock Broussard, she is out of All About the Candy by Pyc Paint Your Wagon.

The daughter of Heza Fast Rogue has earned $110,755 from 23 starts with six wins, five seconds, and three thirds. Her stakes résumé includes a win earlier in her career and recent placings with a third in the Mother’s Day Stakes and a fourth in the Flashy Hemp Stakes.

Rounding out the order of finish is Power By Black in fourth, followed by Engine Victory in fifth, Big Red Train sixth, Corona Blue Estrella seventh, and Lrh Heart Of Glass in eighth.
