GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—NOVEMBER 15, 2025—Diamond Cowgirl 123 produced a determined late burst to capture the $47,921 Texas Classic Juvenile Stakes on Saturday night at Lone Star Park, winning the 400-yard event for 2-year-olds who competed in the Texas Classic Futurity trials but did not qualify for the Grade 1 final.
Running over a fast track and fighting through a 7 mph headwind, the sorrel filly stopped the timer in 19.693 seconds, earning a 94 speed index.
Bred in Texas by Mercy Hinklins Horse Farm LLC, Diamond Cowgirl 123 is a daughter of leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 out of Tres Seis Diamond, by Tres Seis.
After being bumped at the start, she surged late under jockey Christian Ramos to reel in the leader and score by a half-length for owner Diamond Cowgirl Partnership and trainer Marc Jungers.
The victory was worth $21,325 to her connections. The filly entered the Juvenile after just missing the final when she broke her maiden in the October 24th trials and posted the 11th fastest time. She has earned $30,796.
