GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—OCTOBER 25, 2025—Rainbow Of Diamonds delivered a powerful performance Saturday night at Lone Star Park, posting the fastest qualifying time from four trials contested for the $247,588 Purina Feeds Texas Classic Oaks.

The 3-year-old filly stopped the timer in 19.279 seconds for 400 yards over a muddy (sealed) track, leading a field of ten qualifiers who will return for the Oaks final on Saturday, November 15.

Bred in Oklahoma by Danny Joe Miller, Rainbow Of Diamonds is a Grade 2-placed daughter of champion sire Apollitical Blood out of Cc Seis, by Tres Seis. Owned by Valeriano Racing Stables LLC and trained by Victor H. Rodriguez-Flores, she was ridden by Francisco Calderon.

The sorrel filly, a $22,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate, broke well and quickly assumed command in the opening trial, drawing clear to win by a half-length while maintaining her momentum through the wire.

Earlier this year, she was second in the Heritage Place Oaks(G2) and fourth in the All American Oaks(G1).  A five-time winner from 14 starts Rainbow Of Diamonds has earned $250,334.

Following closely in the same heat, Eyesa Wagon My Tale earned the second-fastest qualifying time of 19.379 seconds for owner Leto Land and Cattle LLC.

The daughter of Wagon Tales out of Eyesa Candy Chick, by Country Chicks Man, was bred in Oklahoma by Randy and Stacy Hill. Trained by Marc E. Jungers and ridden by Christian Ramos, she finished gamely after chasing the eventual top qualifier to the wire.

The Grade 3 Jack Books Stakes winner has won three of 11 career starts and banked $80,236.

The third-fastest qualifier was Karmalites, who covered the distance in 19.468 seconds to finish third in the same trial. The Grade 1 winning filly is by The Marfa Lights out of Cartel Karma, by Corona Cartel, and was bred in Oklahoma by Paris Wixon.

Owned by Fabian Muniz Porras, trained by Jorge Luis Sanchez Jr., and ridden by Luis Martinez, Karmalites earned the trials off a victory in the $702,907 All American Oaks(G1) in her last start on September 1. A seven-time winner, she has earned $575,912. Porras paid $12,000 for the filly at the 2023 Heritage Place Yearling sale.

The top three fillies came from the first trial, which was the evening’s fastest heat despite the challenging surface conditions.

Each will now advance to the Oaks final on November 15, where they will compete for a share of the $247,588 purse at Lone Star Park.

The Purina Feeds Texas Classic Oaks is restricted to 3-year-old fillies and run over 400 yards. The ten fastest qualifiers from Saturday’s trials will vie for the title in what promises to be a high-caliber final featuring many of the sport’s top female runners.
