ROCKY VIEW COUNTY, ALBERTA–OCTOBER 25, 2025–Flight Club once again demonstrated why he is the horse to beat in the distance ranks, scoring his third distance stakes victory of the season in the $15,256 CTD Distance #3 Stakes on Saturday afternoon at Century Downs.

The seven-year-old gray gelding stopped the clock in 40.033 seconds with a 104 speed index, crossing the wire 3 1/4 lengths in front under jockey Alexander Marti. The victory was worth $11,015, boosting his lifetime bankroll to $230,342.

Trained by William Leech for owner Jerry Stojan, Flight Club was bred in California by Steve D. Burns DVM. The son of Foose is out of Seperate Flight by Separatist and was purchased for $19,000 at the 2019 Los Alamitos Equine Sale.

Sent off as the 2/5 favorite, Flight Club paid $2.80 to win and once again showed his class, breaking quickly from the gates and taking control early before powering home much the best.

This victory capped off an outstanding campaign for Flight Club, who also won the Century Mile Distance Stakes in June, where he shattered the track record, and the CTD Distance Stakes on October 4.

The versatile gelding continues to prove his ability across multiple distances—holding the track records at 110 yards in 6.91 seconds, the 440-yard in 21.600 seconds and 870 yards in 45.260 seconds.

With 20 career victories, including 17 in stakes competition, Flight Club has lit the board in 27 of 32 career starts.

Runner-up Krash On Okey, sent off at 12-1 odds, delivered a determined effort to finish second, 2½ lengths behind the winner.

The 5-year-old brown gelding is by Krash Cartel and out of Stayin On Okey by Okey Dokey Dale. Bred in Mexico by Isaak Fehr, Krash On Okey is owned by Agatha Fehr and trained by Misael Moreno, with Daniel Tavares aboard.

Saturday’s result marked his first black type of the season after four prior attempts in stakes events at Century Mile and Century Downs. A consistent performer, Krash On Okey has now made 27 starts, recording four wins, seven seconds, and seven thirds, and has earned $62,664.

Finishing third was Uncommon Soldier, a 4-year-old chestnut gelding by Favorite Soldier. Out of Sis Tar by Fastnfierce, he was bred, owned, and trained by Clifton G. Dennis and ridden by Laurina Bugeaud.

Uncommon Soldier finished 1 1/2 lengths behind the runner-up, adding another solid performance following his second-place finish to Flight Club earlier this month in the CTD Distance Stakes. He has now made 24 starts, earning $44,816 with six wins, four seconds, and six thirds.

Cd Brookstone Boogie, Willie Lump Lump, and First Gold Dash completed the order of finish.
