OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—APRIL 19, 2025—Tom Maher and Amber Olmstead's Famous N Relentless raced to his second win in as many starts this season when he defeated a full field in the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile at Remington Park Saturday night.
Jockey Ramiro Garcia guided the 2-year-old to a one-length victory as he crossed the wire in 16.506 seconds, a 98 speed index with a 15 mph tailwind on a sloppy (sealed) track going 330 yards.
Conditioned by trainer Jason Olmstead, Famous N Relentless broke his maiden in his career debut on April 19. The $40,000 Juvenile winner's purse boosts her earnings to $48,000. Maher bred the son of champion sire Hes Relentless from the Tres Seis mare Tritoon.
Dunn Ranch's homebred Dr Urban Cowboy, a son of the leading third-crop sire Flying Cowboy 123, finished second to earn $17,000. Jed Vane tapped jockey Juan Pulido to ride the $40,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale repurchase from the Tres Seis mare Seissita.
Bp Saving Grace, a Valiant Hero homebred for owner-breeder Bill Price, was half a length back in third. Dee Keener trains the filly out of Remington Park Futurity(G1) third-place finisher Pyc Takes All by Pyc Paint Your Wagon. Roman Cruz rode the $12,595 earner.
Billys Brandi, Tell Sashary Shes Hot, Merkaba, Shez An Outgoing Gal, Jess Revenge, Get Up N Gone and Flashin The Candy completed the field.
