Zoomin Effortlessly Sets New Track Record In Remington Park Championship

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—JUNE 4, 2016—It’s been over a year since Zoomin Effortlessly last failed to visit a winner’s circle in his tour de force. Saturday night at Remington Park, he ran his winning streak to eight and put an exclamation point on the performance in setting a new 440-yard track record in the Grade 1, $250,605 Remington Park Championship.

Owned by Telesforo Perrett of Houston and trained by Rick Robinson, Zoomin Effortlessly was ridden by Santos Carrizales who could not have been happier with the 5-year-old gelding’s performance.

"The last time (Leo Stakes in April), he didn’t break but today he did. He’s funny but when he leaves, it’s hard to catch him. I had (Moonin The Eagle) on the inside and he came really strong at me but that’s what I like about Zoomin, he feels the pressure and he kicks into another gear. I don’t know where he gets that strength, he’s a little bitty, thin horse, but he has a big heart."
