OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 19, 2026–Apollitical Jess is doing what he’s done for years—separating himself from the pack.
The world champion sire tightened his grip on the 2026 leaderboard Saturday night at Remington Park, doubling his early-season stakes winners total from three to six in emphatic fashion.
His progeny didn’t just win stakes—they swept the marquee events, taking the Remington Park Futurity (RG1), Derby (RG1), and Juvenile Stakes, led by Apoliticalgolddigger, West Texas Royalty, and Apollitikal Dreamer, respectively.
Apollitical Jess continues to build a resume that few sires in the modern era can match. With more than $84 million in progeny earnings, 14 champions, and nearly 300 black-type horses, his consistency at the top of the sport isn’t slowing down. Saturday night was simply another reminder—when the stakes are highest, his runners show up.
REMINGTON PARK FUTURITY (RG1)
Apoliticalgolddigger SI 92 won the $971,955 Remington Park Futurity (RG1) and now has earnings of $413,172, proving best when it mattered with a head victory over fellow fastest qualifier Whatdyathinkofmenow.
The two hooked up from start to finish, with Apoliticalgolddigger refusing to yield in the final strides under Juan Pulido. The colt stopped the clock in :16.648 for 330 yards over a fast track, narrowly bettering his rival’s :16.680.
Pulido continued a dominant meet, picking up his fourth win of the night and adding another major futurity to his résumé.
The Oklahoma-bred colt is by Apollitical Jess. He is out of Ashleys Gold Digger by Heza Fast Man and was bred by Charlotte and Brett Northam. He races for Javier Cruz and is trained by Josue Garcia.
The $388,782 payday kept him undefeated in three starts and firmly established him as one of the leading juveniles in the country.
REMINGTON PARK DERBY (RG1)
West Texas Royalty SI 95 won the $217,910 Remington Park Derby (RG1) and increased his earnings to $87,164, delivering the upset of the night at 44-1.
In a blanket finish, the gelding got up by a head in :19.578 for 400 yards, edging Jc Speeding while Coronados 123 was another neck back in third. The top three were separated by the narrowest of margins, underscoring just how tight the finish was.
He is out of Tres of Royalty by Tres Seis and was bred and is owned by Kevin Hogan. The victory returned $91.60 to win and highlighted the depth behind Apollitical Jess’ program—elite favorites and longshot performers alike.
REMINGTON PARK JUVENILE
Apollitikal Dreamer SI 91 won the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Stakes and now has earnings of $44,216, putting together a strong performance from gate to wire.
The colt covered 330 yards in :16.774, showing early speed and finishing power under Ramiro Garcia as he drew off to win by three-quarters of a length.
Bred and owned by Brenda Reiswig, he is out of One Kool Dreamer by Hes Relentless. Jason Olmstead trains the promising youngster.
The win was his first in two starts and followed a runner-up effort in the Remington Park Futurity trials. The $40,816 check pushed his earnings to $44,216 and put him on the radar moving forward.
