OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 7, 2026–Kiss My Hocks sired another Grade 1 qualifier this past weekend as Kisses N Candy earned her spot in the $971,955 Remington Park Futurity.
Coming out of the fastest trial of the night on Thursday, Kisses N Candy finished second behind fastest qualifier Apoliticalgolddigger in her first official start. The filly stopped the clock in :16.851, delivering a sharp and professional debut against the toughest group of the evening.
Kisses N Candy is out of Jess Send Me Candy by Pyc Paint Your Wagon and was bred in Oklahoma by George Seward, Jill Cook, Barron Racing, LLC and PV Quarter Horse Farms. A $65,000 Ruidoso Yearling Sale graduate, she is trained by Fernando Ivan Manriquez and was ridden by Edwin Escobedo.
That same key trial also produced Scif, who finished fourth behind Apoliticalgolddigger and Kisses N Candy while still posting a competitive :16.942 in the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile trials.
Scif is out of Cartella by Corona Cartel and was bred in Oklahoma by Paris Wixon, who also owns the gelding. He is trained by Clinton Crawford and was ridden by Jorge Torres.
Rockn My Socks took a different path but delivered an equally strong performance. The gelding won his trial heat from gate to wire under Jorge Torres in his second career start, stopping the clock in :17.073.
Rockn My Socks is by Kiss My Hocks. He is out of Three Fancy Socks by Pyc Paint Your Wagon and was bred in Oklahoma by Cavenaugh Quarter Horses. A $50,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate, he is owned by Ramiro Guzman and Oscar Padilla and trained by Salimm Hernandez.
Kiss My Hocks sired another qualifier on Sunday at Hipodromo de las Americas, as Kiss Of Angles earned a spot in the Prize Classic. The filly was bred by DSK Ltd out of Sera Fina by Corona Cartel and was a $40,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate.
At Los Alamitos, Kiss My Hocks was also represented in stakes company as Sm My Valentine finished third in the James S. Smith Memorial Handicap, adding another black-type performance to the stallion’s growing résumé in 2026.
Kiss My Hocks continues to sire stakes-level runners on a weekly basis and currently ranks as the No. 2 leading sire of two-year-olds in the nation. His most recent major stakes score came in March when Kiss Me Ina Flash won the $435,395 Oklahoma Futurity-G2. The filly remains undefeated from two starts with earnings of $179,933.
With more than $17.4 million in progeny earnings and an average of $38,000 per starter, Kiss My Hocks has sired 96 black type horses from eight crops to race.
Among his leading performers are Mr Michel SI 107 with earnings of $736,830, Dollar Bill SI 106 with earnings of $649,759, Kempton SI 97 with earnings of $646,068, Joose Boxx SI 106 with earnings of $623,927, Kiss My Maruska SI 105 with earnings of $606,226 and Cartel Kisses SI 97 with earnings of $506,440.
