TRAFALGAR, IN–JANUARY 6, 2025– Encore, a multiple stakes siring son of Leading World Champion Sire Corona Cartel, will stand the 2026 breeding season at Midwest Equine & Veterinary Hospital in Trafalgar, Indiana. His fee is set at $1,200. 

Owned by Dr. Roger Beam, the 2014 stallion won or placed in nine of his 21 career starts while earning $43,761. He was named Central Hi-Point Aged Stallion and finished second in the Bradford Stakes, while also running in the Indiana Championship and Bradford Stakes.

Bred and raced early by Bobby D. Cox, Encore competed for his breeder prior to being offered at the 2017 Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale. There, Dr. Roger Beam purchased Encore for $36,000. Following the sale, Encore raced during the 2018 and 2019 seasons under his new ownership before retiring to the stud barn.

Encore is by Corona Cartel SI 97 ($557,142), one of the sport’s Leading Sires with progeny earnings surpassing $72 million. Corona Cartel has sired 202 stakes winners, 217 stakes-placed runners, and 10 Champions, including World Champion Blues Girl Too SI 105 ($2,032,328), Champion Teller Cartel SI 108 ($1,212,471), Champion Five Bar Cartel SI 91 ($1,068,825), and two-time Champion Kvn Corona SI 95 ($868,077).

From limited numbers, Encore has established himself as a multiple stakes siring stallion, with progeny earnings exceeding $414,000. His leading runners include Sarahs Violin SI 91 ($70,499), Encores Bright Image SI 109 ($60,435), El Fulano SI 97 ($48,515), and Moonin To The Jazz SI 93 ($22,784).

Encore is out of the Grade 1 winner Jess Genuine SI 102, a daughter of Mr Jess Perry who earned $195,175 and produced 15 winners from 26 starters. His full siblings include The August Heat SI 93 ($424,996), Bogart SI 98 ($110,373), and Undaunted SI 95 ($108,978). Encore is a half-brother to the dam of Graded Stakes Winner Rappid SI 95 ($125,605) and New Track Record Setter Azoomin Jamie SI 98 ($101,252).

His second dam, Genuine Reward, a Grade 1 finalist by First Down Dash, is a half-sister to QHBC Juvenile (G1) winner Dashin Dee Dee SI 105 ($266,453) and Diamond Classic Futurity (RG3) winner Susies Girl Sally SI 104 ($145,761).
