BEAR RIVER, WY–OCTOBER 23, 2025–A Sweet Jess will stand the 2026 breeding season again at Woods Farm near Bear River, Wyoming, with his fee set at $1,500. The Accredited Wyoming-Bred stallion is eligible for both the Beehive and Bitterroot programs.
Woods Farm also stands Constituent, Corona Surfer, Igotyourtac, and Power Jam.
A Sweet Jess is a top 15 second-year sire with six winners this year, including A Sweet Arthur ($45,155), Sweet And Hott ($39,504), Pevs Sweet China ($20,373), Jess A Lil Sweetie ($18,969), and Jess Say Goodbye ($14,427). He is also the sire of last year’s Jodys Glory Classic third-place finisher Why Jess Why ($13,310). From 17 starters, he has sired 100% money earners.
A Sweet Jess was the second-highest–selling yearling at the 2018 Ruidoso Select Sale, bringing $300,000. The only son of Apollitical Jess standing in Wyoming, he is out of the “blue hen” mare One Sweet Dash by First Down Dash. He won or placed in three of eight career starts.
His sire, Apollitical Jess is the industry's leading living sire of money earners with over $80 million. He is the sire fo 156 stakes winners, 13 champions, and 828 winners from 12 crops to race with $67,000 average earnings per starter.
