2026 Fee Announced For Multiple Stakes Sire Corona Surfer

BEAR RIVER, WY–AUGUST 28, 2025–Woods Farm announced today that multiple stakes sire Corona Surfer, a Grade 1 son of leading sire Corona Cartel, 2026 fee has been set at $1,500.

An accredited Wyoming program stallion, his offspring are also eligible for the Beehive, Bitterroot, Arizona, and Minnesota programs.

Owned by Woods Farm and Chad Wood, from limited starters in six crops to race, Corona Surfer has sired 32 winners, two black type, earners of more than $1.2 million, with average earnings per starter over $20,600.

Corona Surfer's top performers include Sonny Surfer SI 93 (5 wins to 7, $154,130 San Marcos S., Zia 870 Championship S., etc.), Surfz Up SI 93 (2 wins to 4, $83,002 2nd-New Mexico State Fair Juvenile S., etc.), Hush Yer Face SI (4 wins to 4, $122,919, finalist Lonnie And Candy Elam Memorial Stakes), Hynson SI 102 (3 wins to 5, $107,245, finalist Zia 870 Championship Stakes), Wahine SI 110 (3 wins to 4, $69,918, finalist New Mexico Breeders Stakes-RG3, New Mexico State Fair Juvenile,  etc.), Shade Factor SI 98 (3 wins to 6, $60,023), etc.

At the track, Corona Surfer won or placed in five of nine career starts and earned $37,394. He was the second fastest qualifier on Night 2 to the Grade 1 $1,170,000 Heritage Place Futurity at Remington Park.

His sire is the #2 all-time leading sire and a "sire of sires", Corona Cartel SI 97 ($557,142), sire of 202 stakes winners, 10 champions, earners of more than $72.5 million.
