FARGO, ND–AUGUST 2, 2026–Fastest qualifier One Fabulous Dixie backed up her trial performance Sunday afternoon with a convincing victory in the $25,000 NDQHRA Futurity for North Dakota-bred 2-year-olds at North Dakota Horse Park.

Ridden by Kody Kellenberger, the Robert Johnson trainee overcame a jostled start before accelerating clear to win by 1¼ lengths in :18.661 for the 350 yards, over a fast track.

The homebred filly, owned and bred by Billy Buchholz, has now won two consecutive starts while finishing in the money in two of her three career outings. The $11,250 winner's share increased her earnings to $14,400.

She is by One Fabulous Eagle out of the Freighttrain B mare Marmolly, who captured this same futurity in 2017.

Second-fastest qualifier Travelin Prince finished second under Carlos Banda after breaking sharply and leading early before being passed late.

The gelding stopped the clock in :18.922 for co-owners Mark Allery and John Bercier, with Allery also serving as trainer.

Bred by Doug Demontigny, the son of Travelin Miracle out of Rare Hula now owns a 6-2-1-1 record with earnings of $11,763. Earlier this season, he finished fifth in the Rusty Wilson Memorial Futurity.

Third-fastest qualifier Ac Memaws Moonpie battled gamely between rivals to finish third under Gonzalo Gutierrez, covering the distance in :19.186.

Bred and trained by Mark Allery for owner Cyrus Davis, the gelding is by Louisiana Jambalaya out of the Maltese Dog mare Doggerinii. He now sports a record of 5-0-2-1 with earnings of $6,610.

Hasta B Famous finished fourth and was followed by Travelin Cc, Shesa Dashin Domis, Volcoms Winner, and Runaway Spanish to complete the order of finish.
