ALTOONA, IA—SEPTEMBER 26, 2025—Jess Want To Know surged in the final strides to capture Saturday’s $25,000 Valley Junction Juvenile Stakes at Prairie Meadows.

The daughter of champion Jess Good Candy, out of the One Famous Eagle mare Who You Know, covered the 350 yards in 17.920 seconds with a speed index of 83, winning by a neck under jockey Alfredo Triana, Jr.

The victory came over a fast track with no wind recorded and rewarded her connections with the $8,000 winner’s share of the purse, boosting her career mark to $17,582.

Owned by Bradbury Racing and John D. Hammes and trained by Hammes, Jess Want To Know was bred in Oklahoma by Tom Bradbury and John Hammes. Sent off at 18-1 odds, the filly rallied gamely and returned $39.20 to win, $14.00 to place, and $4.20 to show.

Runner-up honors went to stablemate I Told You Im Good, a brown filly by Jess Good Candy out of the Corona Cartel mare I Told You Im Fancy. Bred in Colorado by Bradbury Racing and owned by Bradbury Racing, she was also conditioned by Hammes and ridden by Miguel Ramirez.

I Told You Im Good showed early speed and led late before being caught, earning $5,000 for her effort. Winless in six starts, she was second in the John Deere Prairie Meadows Juvenile Challenge in August and has earned $15,052.

Nme 123 finished third with a strong late kick under jockey Jorge Torres. The sorrel filly by leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 out of the Kiss My Hocks mare On Nyx was bred in Texas by Tykhe Racing LLC and races for owner Tom Maher under the training of Tyler Stein.

Nme 123 finished a half-length behind the runner-up. She earned $3,000 for her effort, boosting her earnings to $23,390. She was a $42,000 purchase at the 2025 Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale.

Blaze of Gold, Blues Your Color, Corona Downhill, Sinful Mysteries, Tres A Blood, and Midknight Ryder completed the order of finish.
