EVANSTON, WY–AUGUST 10, 2025–Deja Dulce proved "much the best" on Sunday afternoon at Wyoming Downs, capturing the $235,750 Wyoming Downs Futurity (G1) with an authoritative drive in the final yards of the 350-yard test for 2-year-olds.

Breaking sharply from post seven under jockey Jacob Cardenas, the sorrel gelding by leading first-crop sire Dulce Sin Tacha out of La Deja Blue by Carters Cartel surged past the early leader and drew clear to win by three-quarters of a length in 17.431 seconds over a fast track, earning a 98 speed index with a 5 mph crosswind.

Owned by Daisy Carlson and Joe Goggins and trained by Jess Matt, Deja Dulce was bred in Oklahoma by Flag Ranch LLC and earned $108,445 for the victory. A troubled fifth in the $245,800 Energy Downs Futurity on June 22, Deja Dulce has compiled a (6) 3-1-0 record and banked $126,285.
