OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–JUNE 14, 2026–With the June 17 consignment deadline quickly approaching, Heritage Place is reminding breeders and consignors to submit entries for the 48th Annual Heritage Place Quarter Horse Yearling Sale, scheduled for September 16-19, 2026, at the Oklahoma City sales pavilion.

The Heritage Place Yearling Sale remains one of the Quarter Horse industry's premier marketplaces, annually attracting leading buyers from across the country in search of future racing stars. As in previous years, strong demand is expected, and consignors are encouraged to submit entries before the deadline as the sale traditionally fills quickly.

Consignments submitted by June 17 will be accepted at the standard entry fee of $650. Entries received after the deadline will be accepted at a cost of $750, which includes a $100 late fee. The sale commission remains 5% with a $500 minimum.

Heritage Place continues to offer online consignment submissions through its website, allowing sellers to complete contracts electronically while ensuring all required documentation is submitted efficiently. Consignors receive a completed PDF copy of their paperwork immediately upon submission for their records.

An assessment of $250 per entry will be charged if issues arise in procuring or processing sale paperwork, including corrected registration certificates.

The September Yearling Sale serves as one of two major opportunities at Heritage Place to market race-bred yearlings each year. It will be followed by the Fall Mixed Sale, which opens with a dedicated yearling session featuring Quarter Horse, Paint, Appaloosa, and Thoroughbred yearlings before transitioning into mixed-sale offerings.

Additional Heritage Place sales throughout the season provide both live and online marketing opportunities for a variety of bloodstock, including foals in utero, breeding stock, and race-ready prospects.
