Heritage Place has opened consignments for its 2026–27 sale season, led by the Quarter Horse Yearling Sale set for September 16–19 in Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MARCH 20, 2026–Consignments are now being accepted for the 48th Annual Heritage Place Quarter Horse Yearling Sale, scheduled for September 16-19, 2026, at the Oklahoma City sales pavilion.

The consignment deadline is June 17, with fees set at $650 if submitted on time. Entries received after the deadline will be accepted at $750, which includes a $100 late fee. The sale carries a 5% commission with a $500 minimum.

As in years past, demand is expected to be strong, and consignors are encouraged to submit early as the September yearling sale traditionally fills quickly.

Heritage Place is now offering online consignment submissions through its website, allowing sellers to complete contracts efficiently while ensuring all required documentation is submitted correctly. A completed PDF copy is provided at the time of submission for record-keeping.

An assessment of $250 per entry will be charged if any problems arise in procuring or processing the sale entry paperwork, including corrected registration certificates.

The September Yearling Sale remains one of two major opportunities at Heritage Place to market race-bred yearlings. Followed by the Fall Mixed Sale, which will open with a dedicated yearling session featuring Quarter Horse, Paint, Appaloosa, and Thoroughbred yearlings, followed by a mixed session to complete the sale.

Additional sales throughout the season provide both live and online platforms tailored to a range of offerings, from foals in utero to race-ready stock.
