The Ruidoso Horse Sales Company will host the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale on September 4-5, and the New Mexico-Bred Yearling Sale is scheduled for August 15.

RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM–FEBRUARY 24, 2026–Ruidoso Downs and American Horse Sales has released the schedule for its upcoming yearling sales at the New Mexico racetrack.

The Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale is set for September 4-5, 2026 at the Ruidoso Horse Sale Pavilion. The two-day event will take place Friday and Saturday leading into Labor Day weekend, just ahead of the All American Futurity, which will be contested on Labor Day, September 7, 2026 at The Downs at Albuquerque.

The New Mexico-Bred Yearling Sale, featuring Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds, is scheduled for Saturday, August 15 at the Ruidoso Sale Pavilion.

Trials for the All American Futurity, All American Derby, and All American Oaks are slated for August 7-8-9 at The Downs at Albuquerque.

Entries for the New Mexico-Bred Sale must be submitted by May 1. The deadline to enter the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale is May 15.
