Flying Cowboy 123 Utero Tops Heritage 2025 Champions of the Future Foal in Utero Online Sale

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK—DECEMBER 12, 2025—Heritage Place Sales Company’s fourth annual online Champions of the Future Foal in Utero Sale concluded Friday, with gross sales up over last year across the three-day event.

The high seller—purchased by Valeriano Racing Stables—was Hip 43, a foal in utero by Flying Cowboy 123 out of Revenant Moon by A Revenant, selling for $92,500.

Heritage Place Sales Company general manager Spence Kidney said, “Living up to the name’s sake of this sale, being sired by Champion of Champion Sire, Flying Cowboy 123 and out of the Champion mare Revenant Moon, the high seller was consigned by A Arrow Ranch LLC, and sold for $92,500.”

Heritage Place reported 22 of 48 hips sold for gross receipts of $552,000, with an average of $25,090.

Hip 43’s dam, Revenant Moon, is an AQHA Champion and winner of the Oklahoma Futurity-G2, earning $267,585. She is from the immediate female family of Champion runner/sire First Moonflash SI 122 ($969,828).

Valeriano Racing Stables also purchased the second-highest seller, Hip 26, consigned by Turner Farms. The foal in utero is by Corona Cartel out of Jess Send Me by Feature Mr Jess.

Jess Send Me was an All American Futurity-G1 runner-up with $361,595 in earnings. The five-time stakes-winning producer’s top performer is Grade 3 winner Jess Macho Corona SI 99 ($672,061).

The third-highest seller, Hip 52, a foal in utero by Big Daddy Cartel out of A Flashin Blue by First Moonflash, was consigned by Rancho El Dorado, LLC and purchased by Jeff State of RDS Legacy Racing LLC.

The dam, A Flashin Blue, is a Grade 2 stakes winner with $103,552 in earnings, and her first foal hit the ground in 2024. She is from the family of World Champion Blues Girl Too SI 105 ($2,032,328).

Valeriano Racing Stables was the sale’s leading buyer with two purchases totaling $145,000. RDS Legacy Racing LLC purchased four foals in utero for $98,500, and Javier Rodriguez bought four for $79,500.
