The Los Alamitos Equine Sale will see close to 200 hips go through the sale ring, featuring Quarter Horse yearlings and broodmares.  The sale is a joint venture between Ed Allred, the sport's all-time leading breeder and Los Alamitos Race Course owner, leading breeder Burns Ranch, and the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Racing Association, which manages the Equine Sale.

The Los Alamitos Equine Sale has a tremendous tradition of graduates, including 2024 PCQHRA Horse of the Year and AQHA champion 2-year-old Lethal Cowboy 123, 2025 Ed Burke Million Futurity winner Jess Im Worth It, 2024 Governor’s Cup Derby winner Mask Mandate, and multiple stakes winner Frivolous.
