Grade 1-placed AJ Remember Me will make his next start in Sunday's $30,000 Ah High Handicap at Los Alamitos Race Course.

LOS ALAMITOS, CA–OCTOBER 24, 2025–Corinna Sosa’s AJ Remember Me, the third-place finisher in the Grade 1, $1 million Ruidoso Futurity, will look for his first stakes win and third victory in his five-race career when he starts from post number nine in the running of the $30,000 Ah Sigh Handicap on Sunday night.

Trained by Kelly Castaneda and to be ridden by Ricardo Ramirez, AJ Remember Me will enter this 400-yard race after finishing second in his trial to the Golden State Million Futurity on October 4.

 AJ Remember Me began his racing career at Remington Park with a daylight win in a maiden event before traveling to Ruidoso to win a futurity trial by daylight. He had a good start in the Ruidoso Futurity, but the talented Political Twist was just too good, and AJ Remember Me settled for third.

Jarvis V is another top contender as the gelding by Apollitical Jess comes in after running third from an outside post in his Golden State trial. He bumped the side of the gate leaving, and it took him some time to regain his momentum, and from there finished with a strong rush for third. Jesus Nunez will saddle the Valeriano Racing-owned runner, who Francisco Calderon will ride from post two.

Steve Burns’ French Valley and Travis and Wendy Saxton’s El Dictator have both posted second-place finishes in local futurity this season.

French Valley was second to Jess Im Worth It in the Ed Burke Million, while El Dictator was second in the Governor’s Cup Futurity. El Dictator is unlucky not to have qualified for the Golden State final as he posted a terrific 1 ½ length win in his trial.

LCI LLC’s Bandita, a winner of both her starts at Los Alamitos, is another top runner to watch in the Ah Sigh. The field will be completed by Golden State trial winner Notoryous plus Anonymity, Hell On Wheels V, and Barbed Wire.
