CLAREMORE, OK–September 21, 2025–On Monday afternoon, Will Rogers Downs will host its feature event, the (RG2) $75,000-added OQHRA Mystery Futurity, restricted to two-year-old Oklahoma-breds. Ten finalists from the September 8 trials will return to contest 350 yards in race nine, with the starting gate scheduled to load at approximately 4:20 PM.
The 5-2 morning line favorite is Famous N Relentless, a gelding who has captured five of his six career starts, including a breakout victory in the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Stakes, with earnings of $91,194.
The Oklahoma-bred son of He’s Relentless out of Tritoon (by Tres Seis) is bred and co-owned by Tom Maher, who races him in partnership with Amber Olmstead. Trained by Jason L. Olmstead, Famous N Relentless will start from the outside post ten under rider Ramiro H. Garcia.
The fastest qualifier from the trials is Swift D Swyft, listed at 3-1 on the morning line. The filly has made five career starts, including a trip to the $171,000 Four Corners Futurity, where she was disqualified from a troubled third-place finish. Since then, she has rebounded with a sharp allowance victory and followed that effort by posting the quickest time in the September 8 trials.
Bred in Oklahoma by Renee K. Wilson, the daughter of Uncle D, out of A Major Chamisa (by Major Rime), races for owner Katie Larson. She will leave with Christian Ramos aboard for trainer Clinton Crawford from post eight.
Another top contender is Kvn Design, the third choice in the wagering. Lightly raced but undefeated in her last three starts, she enters the final as one of the most improved runners in the field. By Kvn Corona out of Okey Design (by Okey Dokey Dale), she was bred in Oklahoma by Geo H. Suthers and is owned by Saul Colin. Trained by Cosme Velasquez, she will be piloted by Roman Cruz from post two.
With speed, depth, and breeding quality across the board, the OQHRA Mystery Futurity promises a thrilling showdown among the state’s brightest juvenile prospects, highlighting the strength of Oklahoma’s Quarter Horse program.
