GUTHRIE, OK—AUGUST 1, 2026—Flying Cowboy 123, one of the most dominant young stallions in Quarter Horse racing history, will stand the 2027 breeding season at the world-renowned Lazy E Ranch in Guthrie, Oklahoma. His 2027 stud fee will be announced at a later date.

Owned by Lainie Whitmire, the son of champion sire Apollitical Jess out of Hot Cash 123 by Takin On the Cash has rapidly established himself as one of the industry's elite sires since entering stud in 2020.

Through July 30, Flying Cowboy 123 currently leads the 2026 AQHA Leading Sires by Money Earned list with 382 starters, 139 winners, 19 stakes winners, and progeny earnings of more than $6.06 million through July 30. He also tops the AQHA Leading 2-Year-Old Sires by Money Earned standings with 200 runners, 73 winners, six stakes winners, and juvenile earnings exceeding $3.66 million.

Flying Cowboy 123's overall influence at stud has been equally impressive. Through July 28, his runners have amassed more than $23.1 million in lifetime earnings from 563 starters, including 326 winners, 58 stakes winners, and 55 additional stakes placers. His offspring have made 3,945 starts, producing 708 victories and more than 1,100 top-three finishes.

From his first seven crops of racing age, Flying Cowboy 123 has averaged more than $41,000 in earnings per starter, underscoring the consistency and quality that have made him one of Quarter Horse racing's premier young sires.

His move to Lazy E Ranch places one of the industry's hottest commercial stallions at one of Quarter Horse racing's premier breeding operations.

Flying Cowboy 123 has earned a remarkable list of accolades in a short time at stud. He was the AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year-Old Colt and Champion Three-Year-Old Colt during his racing career before becoming the Leading First-Crop Sire of All-Time. Since then, he has led every crop of sires and continues to dominate the national sire standings.

His growing list of elite performers includes multiple AQHA Champions and Grade 1 winners headed by Cowboys Gun Z SI 101, winner of the All American Futurity (G1) and Refrigerator Championship (G1), with earnings of more than $1.67 million, and Lethal Cowboy 123 SI 99, whose victories in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1), Golden State Million Futurity (G1), and Vessels Maturity (G1) have propelled his bankroll beyond $1.53 million.

The stallion's current standout juvenile is Cowboys Flying SI 111, winner of the TQHA Sale Futurity (G1) and Texas Breeders Futurity, who has already banked $556,993 in 2026.

Other leading earners from Flying Cowboy 123's early crops include graded stakes winners Cardiac Cowboy, Electrifying Cowboy, Fire Cowboy, Flyin Rabbit 123, Flying Sophia, House Of Lords, TW Streakin Cowboy, RF Runaway Cowboy, Little Vaquero, and Whoopie Cowgirl, highlighting the sire's ability to produce elite runners across multiple racing jurisdictions.

Flying Cowboy 123 has also become one of the industry's most sought-after commercial sires. His 2026 yearlings have averaged $79,528 so far, with 18 yearlings selling for a gross of $1,431,500, reflecting the strong demand for his offspring in the sales ring.

On the racetrack, Flying Cowboy 123 earned $965,811 while winning eight of 13 career starts. He captured the Texas Classic Futurity (G1) and Texas Classic Derby (G1) and was third in both the All American Derby (G1) and Rainbow Futurity (G1). His championship résumé includes AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year-Old Colt, Champion Three-Year-Old Colt, and New Mexico High-Point Three-Year-Old Colt honors.
