Ladies ages 18 and older can register for Retama Park's Diamond Dig promotion, where one lucky participant will uncover a real diamond on Saturday, August 1.

SELMA, TX–JULY 30, 2026—Retama Park announced its annual Diamond Dig will return Saturday, August 1, following Race 7, giving ladies 18 and older the opportunity to dig for exciting prizes and the chance to win a $2,500 diamond necklace courtesy of Americus Diamond.

Participation is complimentary and limited to the first 150 registered guests. Registration is required and can be completed by scanning the QR code located on the track level near Racing 101.

Following the seventh race, participants will head onto the racetrack for the Diamond Dig, where one lucky guest will uncover the grand prize. No shovels are allowed, and gloves are optional.

The Diamond Dig is one of several attractions planned during Saturday night's live Quarter Horse racing program at Retama Park.
