GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—JULY 30, 2026—Lone Star Park has released an important reminder to Quarter Horse owners and trainers regarding upcoming deadlines for the 2026 Dash For Cash Futurity and Dash For Cash Derby, as preparations continue for the track's annual Meeting of Champions.

Track officials announced that the updated nomination lists for both the Dash For Cash Futurity and Dash For Cash Derby are now available in the Horsemen's Information section of the Lone Star Park website.

The next sustaining payment for horses already nominated is due Saturday, August 15, with a payment of $500 required to remain eligible. Owners also have the opportunity to make late nominations at that time by paying the applicable late fee. Complete nomination requirements and forms are available in the Horsemen's Information section at www.lonestarpark.com..

Lone Star Park is encouraging owners and trainers to submit payments well in advance of the deadline to avoid the possibility of missing the payment date.

Preparations for the 2026 Quarter Horse meet will continue later this month as the stable area opens Monday, August 24, followed by the first day of training on Monday, August 31.

The 2026 Meeting of Champions is scheduled to begin on Friday, September 11, featuring one of the nation's premier Quarter Horse racing programs, highlighted by the prestigious Dash For Cash series.
