ALTOONA, IA–JULY 26, 2026–Prairie Meadows has adjusted the start time for Monday's 10-race program because of forecasted excessive heat.

First post for the July 27 card has been moved from its originally scheduled afternoon start to 6:00 p.m. CT. Track officials announced the change Sunday and encouraged horsemen and fans to plan accordingly.

The rescheduled program is highlighted by the $50,000 Adequan Prairie Meadows Derby Challenge trials, a 400-yard test for 3-year-olds.
