RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM, JULY 17 2026–The highly anticipated 2026 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale catalog is now available for download.

The prestigious two-day sale is set for September 4-5 at the Ruidoso Horse Sale Pavilion in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico. A total of 413 premier race-bred Quarter Horse yearlings will go under the hammer in two sessions, beginning at 2:00 p.m. MDT each day.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
Session II: 207-413

“We are very excited about this year’s Select Sale catalog,” said Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale General Manager Walt Wiggins. “Once again our consignors have entrusted us to sell a remarkable set of yearlings. To illustrate the depth of quality in this year’s catalog, we have consigned with us yearlings who are full or half siblings to 14 millionaires. In addition, 52 yearlings are out of grade 1 stakes-winning producers.”

Coinciding with the Labor Day racing weekend, Ruidoso Downs will again host the All American Futurity, All American Derby, and All American Oaks on Monday, September 1, in Albuquerque.

The schedule allows horsemen and racing fans to attend the sale on Friday and Saturday, then travel to Albuquerque in time for the marquee races running on Monday.
