ALBUQUERQUE, NM–JUNE 8, 2026– StallioneSearch.com wraps up its weekend webcast coverage of the 2026 Ruidoso Futurity (G1) and Ruidoso Derby (G1), which kicked off the Quarter Horse Triple Crown Series on Saturday night at the Downs at Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In this episode, StallioneSearch was on hand at the Downs at Albuquerque to capture the running of the $1 million Ruidoso Futurity (G1), which resulted in both a new track record and stakes record thanks to a champion-level performance by fastest qualifier Highly Lethal V. The two-year-old gelding by Apollitical Jess covered the 350-yard distance in an ultra-fast time of :16.886, earning a 107 speed index.
The Oklahoma-bred homebred races for Valeriano Racing Stables LLC and is trained by Raymond Valerio. Highly Lethal V is a half-brother to stakes winner Lethal Avenger ($470,745), and he hails from one of the sport's most accomplished female families, which includes champions Volcom Bay ($426,023), Relentless Eagle ($316,935), Volcoms Favorite ($209,443), and world champion Lethal Cowboy 123 ($1,271,529).
Coverage of the Ruidoso Futurity (G1) and Ruidoso Derby (G1) on StallioneSearch.com is sponsored by the nation's leading third-crop sire, Uncle D. The Grade 1-winning stallion and sire of a Grade 1 winner stands at Prestige Equine in Roswell, New Mexico.
