SELMA, TX–FEBRUARY 18, 2026– Dracula (race 1) and Ms Adelita (race 5) both recorded the fastest time of :13.62 seconds from twelve training races on February 18 at Retama Park.

Dracula, a colt by champion and leading sire Flying Cowboy 123, is out of the Tres Seis mare Check My Tres Disco. Flying Cowboy 123 has sired 237 winners with more than $17.2 million in progeny earnings, led by champion and All American Futurity (G1) winner Cowboys Gun Z ($1,670,517).

Dracula’s female family traces to Do Ya Disco, a Dash For Cash mare who won the Trinity Meadows Futurity (G3) and was Grade 1-placed in the Texas Classic Derby (G1).

The colt is a homebred for Wyatt and Zack Stinebaugh, with Zack Stinebaugh also serving as trainer. Gilberto Linares had the riding assignment.

Also stopping the clock in :13.62 seconds was $5,500 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate Ms Adelita. Bred in Texas by Randy King, the filly is by graded stakes winner Inspyre and out of the Volcom mare RK Volcoms Valentine. She represents one of the first starters from Inspyre’s first crop to race.

Her female family includes World Champion JRC Callas First ($631,076), a Champion Aged Horse, Champion Aged Gelding and Supreme Race Horse who won 12 stakes races, including the Zia Park Championship (G1) twice and The Championship at Sunland Park. The gelding also set a 550-yard track record.

Ms Adelita is owned by Saul Sanchez Tovar and was ridden by Eddie Sanchez for trainer Jose Ivan Martinez.

Posting the next fastest mark was Mucho Man Shortstop, who covered the distance in :13.65 seconds. Bred in Louisiana, the filly was a $9,500 LQHBA Yearling Sale repurchase and is a homebred for Ruse Ranch. Claudio Aguilar rode for trainer Ricardo Romero.

She is sired by leading first-crop sire KJ Mucho Macho Man, whose runners from three crops have earned more than $2.4 million. Her dam, Shortstop Express, is a winner and runner-up in the LQHBA Sale Juvenile and a Grade 1 finalist. The second dam, Allizoon ($113,016), was runner-up in both the Par-A-Dice Stakes and Louisiana Purchase Stakes and is a half-sister to champion Lett Her Zoom ($309,167) and graded stakes winner Lett It Happen ($154,402).
