Retama Park announces their 2026 Quarter Horse racing dates, granting a 23-day meet starting on June 25.

SAN ANTONIO, TX–OCTOBER 22, 2025–The Texas Racing Commission (TXRC) approved the dates for the 2026 live racing season at Retama Park at its October meeting, granting a 23-day Quarter Horse meet which will get underway on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Race nights are set for Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at 6:30 pm (Central). The Quarter Horse racing season will wrap up on Saturday, August 22. 2026 Dates Include:
June 25, 26 and 27
July 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 23, 24, 25,30 and 31
August 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 20, 21, and 22

Retama Park Training Center will open December 1, 2025, and continue to April 11, 2026. The Training Center is open for all breeds, and applications can be submitted to Retama Park’s Racing Secretary – Mike Acton at Mike.Acton@PennEntertainment.com.
