Lone Star Park revised the start time schedule again for Friday, October 24, to accommodate the weather forecast for the Texas Classic Futurity trials.

OCTOBER 22, 2025–GRAND PRAIRIE, TX–Lone Star Park officials have announced another adjustment to the post time for the Texas Classic Futurity Trials, scheduled for Friday, October 24, in anticipation of potential storms in the area.

The first post is now set for 1:05 p.m., moving earlier once again to help ensure the full race card can be completed safely and efficiently.

Due to the earlier start, veterinary check-ins will also take place ahead of schedule. Horses shipping in for the trials must be on the grounds and ready for inspection by 9:00 a.m., while vet checks for horses stabled on the grounds will begin at 7:00 a.m.

Officials urge all trainers and owners to plan accordingly to ensure a smooth and timely race day experience.
