AJAX, ONTARIO–OCTOBER 7, 2025–The top three leading owners at Ajax Downs for the 2025 Quarter Horse season are all well represented on the Wednesday, October 8 card of racing. James Bogar, Marie Broadstock, and Milena Kwiecien are separated by just seven Quarter Racing Owners of Ontario (QROOI) points with just three racing days left in the season.

The QROOI points are earned by horses finishing first through fourth in categories of races, with the higher-classed races offering more points.

Bogar has 144 points heading into Wednesday's races, Broadstock 142, and Kwiecien 137.

Bogar has four fillies entered in three races, with his star mare, Pretty Runaway, looking like a top contender in race 6. The 8-year-old won the Ontario Sires Stakes Maturity in August for her 10th career win. Pretty Runaway is joined by her stablemate Jezzabella, and both gals will be challenged by a formidable pair owned by Kwiecien: Kissin Ella and Spy for the Senate.

Kissin Ella was recently second in the Norman Picov Derby to the top 3-year-old of this year, Had to Be Fabulous, while Spy for the Senate is a classy old timer who won for the 21st time in his career on Sept. 17.

Marie Broadstock has four entrants on Wednesday, all of whom are trained by her husband, Bob. Her top filly Double Dashin Corona seeks her fourth win of 2025 in race 4, the Gridiron Gallop at 110 yards.

First race post time on Wednesday is 12:55 p.m. The popular Pick 5 and Pick 4 wagers are available beginning on races 3 and 4, respectively.

REMINDER: Ajax Downs hosts the popular UNITED WAY DAY and Pumpkin Day on a special Thanksgiving Monday card of racing on October 13. There will be draws and giveaways, pumpkins for the kids to decorate, and a special 'Turkeys vs. Chickens' race featuring the Ajax Downs jockey colony.
