ALBUQUERQUE, NM–AUGUST 28, 2025–StallioneSearch continues its comprehensive coverage of the 2025 All American weekend at The Downs at Albuquerque with the release of the All American Edition of the QH Racing Talk Podcast. This marks episode 40 of the series and features several key figures heading into the Labor Day classic events.

Podcast host Greg Thompson of StallioneSearch.com sits down with former World Champion jockey Ricky Ramirez, who will pilot King Of The Tide in the $3-million All American Futurity (G1). The gelded son of Eye Am King enters the finals as the fastest overall qualifier from the August 4–5 trials at Albuquerque.

Trainer Luis Iturralde joins the conversation to discuss The Diesel Train, the fastest qualifier from the second day of trials. The Freighttrain B colt will be ridden in the finals by Luis’ younger brother, Omar Iturralde.

Also featured is trainer Xavier Rodriguez, who sends out one of the most accomplished juveniles in the field, Political Twist. The Apollitical Jess gelding captured both the West Texas Futurity (G2) at Sunland Park and the Ruidoso Futurity (G1) earlier this year. Rodriguez, who started three runners in last year’s All American Futurity, discusses his preparation for this year’s 440-yard classic.

Two-time AQHA World Champion jockey Francisco Calderon—still seeking his first victory in both the All American Futurity and All American Derby—offers insight on House Of Lords, the fastest qualifier to the 2025 All American Derby (G1).

Racing analyst Tom Dawson also lends his perspective, breaking down the leading contenders for both the Futurity and the Derby.
