The gelded son of Apollitical Jess enters Sunday’s Grade 1 final as the most accomplished runner in the field, having captured the West Texas Futurity (G2) earlier this spring at Sunland Park.

A $150,000 graduate of the Heritage Place Yearling Sale, Political Twist will be making his fourth career start in the 350-yard final. Bred in New Mexico by MJ Farms, he is out of the Tres Seis mare Twister Seis.
