Wednesday Marks The Debut of StallioneSearch Film On Kentucky Derby Experience

By StallioneSearch.com

LOUISVILLE, KY–MAY 13, 2025–This coming Wednesday marks the debut of a new StallioneSearch film that documents Greg Thompson's trip to this year's Kentucky Derby. The film explores the similarities and differences between the first Saturday in May and the Labor Day classic held on the mountain in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico.

Thompson was invited to join the Coady Media team for this year's Kentucky Derby, where he captured footage over four days of racing at the historic Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.

The film highlights the similarities and differences, as well as the pageantry, between the Kentucky Derby—considered the biggest day of horse racing in the world—and the All American Futurity, the premier event in Quarter Horse racing.

Highlights of the film include behind-the-scenes footage from the backside of mornings leading up to the Kentucky Derby and Oaks, the walkover of horses before the Derby, and Thompson's firsthand experience as a spectator at this ultimate showcase of horse racing.

StallioneSearch was on hand to witness history in the making as prominent owner and breeder Godolphin took home trophies for both the Kentucky Derby and the Kentucky Oaks.

The short film is sponsored by Lawley's Genuine Equine Supplements.
