Lets Get Fisical Tops Canada Quarter Horse Cup Yearling & Mixed Sale at $20,500

Lets Get Fisical brought the sale-topping price of $20,500 during the 2026 Canada Quarter Horse Cup Yearling & Mixed Sale held Tuesday in Ponoka, Alberta.

The sale reported 21 horses offered, with 12 changing hands for gross receipts of $99,600. The average price was $8,300, while the median settled at $6,250. Nine horses were reported as RNAs, with two outs.

Hip 4, Lets Get Fisical, topped the sale when WT Ranches Ltd. signed the ticket at $20,500. Consigned by Buckey Stockwell, the yearling filly is by The Fiscal Cliff and out of See Me Do It Too, by Favorite Cartel.

Stockwell also consigned the sale's second-highest seller, Hip 3, Run For Fun 109, purchased for $18,000 by Our One Bad Habit Syndicate. The yearling gelding is by multiple stakes sire PYC Fun N Fancy and is also out of See Me Do It Too, making him a maternal half-brother to the sale topper.

Two yearling geldings tied for the third-highest price at $8,200.

Hip 11, Obsessedwithcartels, was purchased by Bar X Livestock for $8,200 from consignor Ralph Danard. He is by Obsessed With Corona and out of Cash Cartel Patriot, by Jet Black Patriot.

WT Ranches Ltd. also paid $8,200 for Hip 21, Elegant Jet Shadow, a yearling gelding by Tres Elegance out of Ginny Moon, by Black Shadows. Kevin and Jessica Slot consigned the gelding.

WT Ranches Ltd. Leads Buyers

WT Ranches Ltd. finished as the leading buyer in the sale, purchasing three head for $32,700. Its purchases included the sale topper, Lets Get Fisical, and the $8,200 seller, Elegant Jet Shadow.

Our One Bad Habit Syndicate ranked second among buyers with its $18,000 purchase of Run For Fun 109, while Kevan Blais purchased two head totaling $9,500.

Stockwell Leads Consignors

Buckey Stockwell led all consignors or agents by gross receipts, selling two yearlings for a combined $38,500. Those two horses—Lets Get Fisical and Run For Fun 109—were the two highest-priced offerings of the sale.

Glenn Wills ranked second, with three head bringing $16,000, followed by Ralph Danard, whose two sold totaled $14,200.

Obsessed With Corona Leads Sires By Average

Among yearling sires with two or more sold, Obsessed With Corona led by average with two yearlings bringing a combined $13,200 for an average of $6,600.

Noble Rearing was next with two averaging $6,000 and grossing $12,000, while Ivory League had two yearlings average $5,250 on total receipts of $10,500.
