Dk Air Force One was High Seller For Day One of the Subasta Selecta Yearling Sale

Hip #91 DK Air Force commanded the highest price during Thursday's opening session of the LXII Subasta Selecta Yearling Sale, presented by the Asociación Mexicana de Criadores y Caballistas de Caballos Cuarto de Milla (AMCCCCM) on the infield at Hipódromo de las Américas.

The sorrel colt, bred and consigned by Cuadra La Presita, brought 680,000 pesos, approximately $39,477 USD, to top the first session, which featured Hips 1-159.

The three-day sale features 475 Quarter Horse yearlings representing 105 sires. The sale continues Friday, August 21, at 6:00 p.m. with Hips 160-317, followed by the final session Saturday, August 22, at 6:00 p.m. with Hips 318-475.

Among the sires represented in this year's catalog are Krash Cartel, Danny Cartel, Bullish One, Fearless Fritz, Jess Lips, JLS Party Wagon, Red Storm Cat, Wagon Tales, RG Golden King and Zulu Dragon.
