The championship finale will feature ten two-year-olds who earned their spots in the September 27 qualifying trials. The race is restricted to eligible Mexican-bred Quarter Horses, highlighting the talent and development of the country’s breeding program.

DK Kiss My Danny leads the Futurity field as the 3-1 morning-line favorite. The two-year-old gelding enters after an impressive 2 1/2-length victory in his September 27 trial. The talented gelding has recorded two wins and two third-place finishes in four career starts, earning approximately $20,100. Earlier this season, he captured a qualifying trial in June and finished third in the Futurity Garañones.

Peligrosita Eagle enters as the 7-2 morning-line favorite and brings one of the strongest records into the championship. The two-year-old filly has won three of her eight career starts, earning about $97,100. She secured her place in the final with a 1 1/4-length victory in her September 27 qualifying trial. She previously captured the Futurity Subasta Selecta on August 23, defeating several rivals she will face again on Sunday. Her record also includes a convincing trial win on August 2.

Bred in Mexico by Abelardo Gallegos Fernandez, Peligrosita Eagle is a daughter of Mr Eagle Master, out of the Walk Thru Fire mare Peligrosita. She races for Rancho M Gonzalez and is trained by Jose Baltazar Aguilar. Jockey Mario Alberto Lopez Marmolejo will guide the filly from post nine.

She previously finished second to Peligrosita Eagle in the Futurity Subasta Selecta and won her August 2 qualifying trial by 2 3/4 lengths. With two wins and three runner-up finishes, DK Francia has earned approximately $44,900.
