Louisiana Breeders' Laddie Futurity Draws 105 State-Bred Colts and Geldings

VINTON, LA–APRIL 28, 2025–Jessapilottrain, a graded stakes placed son of Freightttrain B owned by Party Tyme Racing, is one of 105 state-bred colts and geldings entered in Saturday's Louisiana Breeders' Laddie Futurity (RG2) at Delta Downs.
Eleven 330-yard heats are slated. The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the May 24, $75,000-added final.
Jessapilottrain is coming off of a third-place finish, two lengths behind winner Last Eagle V, in the 300-yard, $399,000 Mardi Gras Futurity (RG2) at Louisiana Downs in March. A $24,000 purchase at last year's LQHBA Yearling Sale, the gelding is trained by Jose R. Espinosa.
Jessapiilottrain drew post 9 and will be ridden by Daniel Sandoval Granado in the sixth trial.
Jaime Cardenas' RF Fast Dash N Blood will be stretching out in distance off of his fifth-place finish in the Mardi Gras Futurity. Miguel Castillo trains the son of champion Apollitical Blood, who was purchased for $80,000 at last year's LQHBA Yearling Sale.
RF Fast Dash N Blood drew post 9 and will be ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. in the ninth heat.
