Yo Morning Delite Rockets to Victory in Ron Moosman Accredited Wyoming Bred Maturity

EVANSTON, WY—JULY 20, 2025—Yo Morning Delite surged past rivals in the final yards of Sunday’s $19,500 Ron Moosman Accredited Wyoming Bred Maturity at Wyoming Downs, winning the 400-yard event for accredited Wyoming-bred four-year-olds and older with a determined late run under jockey Jacob Cardenas.

The 5-year-old sorrel gelding stopped the clock in 19.798 seconds over a fast track, earning a 97 speed index while running into an 8 mph headwind.

Bred and owned by Gerald F. Kaul, Yo Morning Delite is a son of multiple stakes sire Brindis Por Cayenne out of the Southern Corona mare Rs Afternoon Delite.

Trained by Jess Matt, the victory was the 18th in 29 starts for the consistent gelding, who increased his lifetime earnings to $227,535 with the $11,700 winner’s share.

Yo Morning Delite entered the Ron Moosman off a victory in the Governor's Cup Stakes at Wyoming Downs in his last start June 29.

Second-place finisher multiple stakes-placed Jets Eyes broke sharply under Jesus Valenzuela and led briefly before being overtaken in the final strides. The 4-year-old son of champion Ec Jet One, out of Hawkinson Eyes by Hawkinson, was bred by Maria Valenzuela and is owned and trained by Kylie Aguirre Valenzuela.

He finished a half-length behind the winner, earning $3,900 for the effort, to increase his earnings total to $65,082.

Jkh Almost A Dynasty rallied with late interest to finish third, 1-1/4 lengths behind the runner-up. The 4-year-old bay filly by multiple stakes sire Jr Dynasty Mountain, out of Almost Early by Favorite Cartel, was bred by Gordon Knudsen.

She races for UDM Investments LLC and is trained by Calli Dominguez. Ridden by Gerardo Vera, she picked up $1,950 to increase her career bankroll to $95,771.

Yo Morning Delite paid $4.20 to win, $2.80 to place, and $2.60 to show. Jets Eyes returned $3.60 to place and $3.00 to show, while Jkh Almost A Dynasty paid $3.20 to show.

Rounding out the field were Vvr Dianas Angel in fourth, Moon Em N Dash fifth, Kcross Cuatro sixth, Kawlidga seventh, Y O Fifty Concerts eighth, Mound Valley Glock ninth, and Dirty Jan Boy tenth (disqualified from original ninth).
