Woopaa Demolishes The $17,000 Belles Stakes For A Slight Upset

TULSA, OK–JULY 6, 2024–Woopaa rushes clear with authority for a slight upset over the post-time favorite Corona Relentless in the $17,000 Belles Stakes on Saturday at Fair Meadows in Tulsa

Benn Cordarelton was aboard Woopaa for the length victory in :17.365 seconds. The three-year-old son of Reagal Eagle took the lead at first call and led the field to the wire, clocking a 98 speed index. The 350-yard victory paid $12.20 to win on 5/1 odds.

Trained by Diego Meza, Woopaa gets his third consecutive win this season, improving his career record to 4-1-1 from six starts. The $10,230 winner's share of the purse boosted his earnings to $44,715.
