Tw Itsarightnow Goes The Distance In The Mixed Breed Quarter Horse Hook Stakes

GREAT FALLS, MT–JULY 28, 2024–Tw Itsalrightnow scores his first win this season amongst a field of four in the $6,500 Mixed Breed Quarter Horse Hook Stakes (not black type) at Great Falls Turf Club on Sunday.

Fernando Gamez piloted Tw Itsalright to a wire-to-wire 3/4-length victory in :34.527 seconds, resulting in a 102 speed index. The six-year-old gelding's slight 660-yard upset paid $9.40 to win.

Ridden by Richard Birdrattler, Messanger chased Tw Itsalrightnow for second best, 2 1/4-lengths ahead of Cd Brookstone Boogie and rider Holly Gervais, who placed third. Drop A Corona and Joe Saenz followed to complete the field for fourth.

Tw Itsalrightnow received $3,575 for the win, boosting his lifetime earnings to $36,333 for owner Alexis Jo Sandoval. The son of Im Alright Now lit the board 22 of 28 starts with six career wins.
