The Prize Ferarri Adds Another Stakes Win To His Resume In Roe River QH Stakes

GREAT FALLS, MT–JULY 26, 2025– The veteran gelding The Prize Ferarri added another stakes victory to his impressive résumé with a win in the $8,000 Roe River Quarter Horse Stakes (not black type) at Great Falls on Saturday.
The 7-year-old son of The Louisiana Cartel surged late to win the 300-yard dash in 15.456 seconds, earning a speed index of 102. The effort boosted his career earnings to $191,793 and marked his second win of the 2025 season.
Owned by RTM Stables LLC and Bryon Goody, The Prize Ferarri notched his 13th career stakes win and 21st overall victory from 36 starts. He is trained by Mark Hanson and was ridden by jockey Corrine Andros.
The Oklahoma-bred is out of Ferarri Fast Prize, a daughter of Mr Jess Perry, and was bred by Weetona Stanley. He was a $30,000 repurchase at the 2024 Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale.
Runner-up Y O Fifty Concerts ran gamely from the inside post, breaking on top and briefly holding the lead before yielding late. The 4-year-old gelding by Fiftyshadezofgrey out of Concert Ticket, by Adashofjess, was bred and owned in Wyoming by Gerald F. Kaul.
Trained by Tryston Matt and ridden by Ruben Chavez, the second-place finish pushed his career earnings to $48,667. He has now finished in the top three in 9 of 16 starts.
She Wears The Pantz, a 6-year-old gray mare by Seperate Interest, rallied belatedly to grab third under jockey Richard Birdrattler. Trained by Harold Wippert Jr. for owner Calvin Crosschild, she was bred in California by Fred Scane out of Skinny Jeans, by Foose. She sold for $5,500 at the 2020 Los Alamitos Equine Mixed Sale. The third-place payday raised her bankroll to $37,470 from 25 career starts.
Six Pack Sassy rounded out the order of finish in fourth. She ran a solid race but was outkicked late in a tightly bunched finish. The 3-year-old New Mexico-bred filly by Rite Favorite was ridden by Jarred Journet, trained by Kayla Warren, and owned by Neale Edwards. She was bred by R. Stratton and S & N Edwards out of Ping Pong Patty, by Jesse James Jr. A two-time winner in 17 starts, Six Pack Sassy has now earned $19,973 in her career.
