Stolen Ivory S Dash Delivers as Favorite in $44,533 Ontario Sires Stakes Futurity

Fastest qualifier Stolen Ivory S Dash lived up to his billing Wednesday afternoon at Ajax Downs, drawing away to win the $44,533 Ontario Sires Stakes Futurity.
Ridden by Ismael Mosqueira for trainer Bryn Robertson, Stolen Ivory S Dash did not get away on top from post seven, breaking fifth before quickly finding his stride. The 2-year-old gelding surged from fifth to take command and drew clear late, completing the 330 yards in :17.123 as the odds-on favorite.
Owned by Carol and Jaime Robertson, Stolen Ivory S Dash was bred in Ontario by Guylaine Paquin. The son of Cold Hard Dash is out of the Ivory James mare Stolin Ivory.
Stolen Ivory S Dash came into the August 19 trials off a third-place finish in the Ontario Bred Futurity and now has a race record of 4-2-1-1 with $30,011 in earnings.
Snowy Goose broke sharply from the inside under Alexis Sanchez and grabbed the early advantage. He fought on gamely after being overtaken by Stolen Ivory S Dash, holding second by a neck in :17.435.
Snowy Goose races for owner and breeder Milena Kwiecien and trainer Jason Pascoe. The gelding is sired by Maryland Magic and out of the Favorite Cartel mare Favorite Pearl. He now has a record of 3-0-1-1 with $11,928 in earnings after qualifying to the Ontario Bred Futurity in his career debut.
Whole Lotta Moxxie, meanwhile, broke third under Brian Bell and moved into second early before settling for third, just a nose behind Snowy Goose, in :17.481.
Whole Lotta Moxxie is owned by KT Quarter Horses and bred and trained by Kim Traviss. The filly is sired by Maryland Magic and out of the Junos Back mare Lookin To Be Iconic. Wednesday’s effort marked just her second career start, bringing her earnings to $5,246.
Cold Hard Chief, Oscar The Grouch, My Gypsy Girl and Baref Kool Rush completed the order of finish. Caviar Dreamz and Eyes Of Fate were scratched.
