Special Dipper Battled For The Win In The NDQHRA Dash For Cash – North Dakota Hall of Fame Stakes
FARGO, ND–JULY 27, 2024–Special Dipper gets his third win this season in the $11,500 NDQHRA Dash For Cash – North Dakota Hall of Fame Stakes (not black type) at North Dakota Horse Park on Saturday.
Nathan Haar was aboard Special Dipper for his 220-yard neck victory over Jennas Quick Jess in :12.256 seconds. The son of Six Figure Sixes clocked an 80 speed index with a 15 mph crosswind.
Jennas Quick Jess, ridden by Kobe Seestheground, placed second, a neck ahead of Dcr All Fired Up and rider Dakota Wood.
Special Dipper earned $5,175 for the trip, increasing his bankroll to $30,847. The four-year-old has six wins from 26 starts and was bred in North Dakota by Michael Groce. Francisco Estrada trains the sorrel gelding out of Denises Doll by Ima Ramblin On for owner Bill Geditz, Jr.
Trainer Terry Davis saddled Jennas Quick Jess for owner-breeder John Bubel. The four-time winning daughter of Dashing Jess Perry has four career wins with $18,401 in earnings. She is out of the Such Easy Cash mare Jennas Easy Cash.
Amanda Haar owns and bred Dcr All Fired Up out of the Its Royal Time mare Madam Doubtfire. The winning son of Fire Breathing Wagon has earned $16,475 and is trained by Francisco Estrada.
Dashing Is A High, Reids Rocket, and Jess Can Jetaway complete the order of finish.
