CLAREMORE, OK–SEPTEMBER 9, 2024–Making her first start since a third-place finish in the Grade 3 Easy Jet Stakes on May 25, Shaken Goin On raced to her third career win today while setting the fastest qualifying time for the $199,872 OQHRA Mystery Futurity(RG2) at Will Rogers Downs.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from the nine trial races contested today will return on Monday, September 23, to vie for the winner's purse valued at $75,948 at a distance of 350 yards.

Longtime jockey Jimmy Dean Brooks was a convincing winner aboard Shaken Goin On to win by a 2-1/2 length margin. The daughter of world champion sire Freighttrain B completed her task in 17.433 seconds, equaling a 99-speed index into a 7 mph tailwind.

Trainer Eddie D. Willis conditions the Oklahoma-bred 2-year-old for owner-breeders James Sills, and Abelardo Flores, Jr. Bred from the Pappasito mare Shaken Pappasito, Shaken Goin On has earned $35,055 in six starts.

Willis and Brooks also teamed with 8th fastest qualifier Perry Fast, a daughter of Corona Cartel racing for owner Buckway Ranch LLC.

Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity winner Heavens Uncle got his third consecutive win in the seventh trial to record the second fastest clocking of 17.437 seconds, a 99-speed index with a 7 mph tailwind.

Trainer Guillermo Valdivia named leading jockey Bryan Candanosa to ride the son of leading first-crop sire Uncle D for owner-breeder Sherry Gilmore. Bred from the Streak And Dash mare, Heavens Assured, Heavens Uncle has banked $374,616 in four starts.
