MEXICO CITY, MEX—August 23, 2026
Rancho M González’s sorrel filly Peligrosita Eagle was crowned the winner of Quarter Horse racing’s premier event, the 2026 Futurity Subasta Selecta-RG2, during the Copa Criadores QH on Sunday at Hipódromo de las Américas.
Racing in the rain, the José Baltazar-trained filly led from gate to wire, covering the 350 yards in 17.25 seconds and earning a 96 speed index. She crossed the wire a half-length ahead of one of the race favorites, DK Francia, representing Cuadra La Presita.
